Artistic Team
Roderick makes theatre that integrates digital technology, to enact meaningful moments of connection. His MA in Advanced Theatre Practice from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama was the catalyst for his shift from a background in immersive theatre. Roderick’s thesis project Prototype (Phase 1) was a one-to-one, VR experience, included in a number of festivals across the UK and at the Festival Ciudad Jardín Alt Empordà in Catalonia.
Board of Trustees
Jo has more than a decade of experience as a transformational digital leader in the social sector. Jo created the Digital Maturity Matrix, which helped over 1,000 charities, and inspired the UK government and Arts Council England to create a similar tool for arts organisations. From 2016-19, Jo was a Trustee for Sadler's Wells Theatre's, World Leaders in Contemporary Dance. Jo is now Director of Impact & Innovation for the UK anti-poverty charity Turn2us.
Elaine Wong is a VR and Immersive Content Producer and Distributor. She has worked at the National Centre for Immersive Storytelling: StoryFutures Academy, part of the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, pioneering immersive experiences across the creative industries. Previously, she worked in film production and for festivals, including Sheffield Doc/Fest and BFI London Film Festival.
Mikaela Murekian is an experienced communications specialist and digital enthusiast. She is a Director at Greenbrook, a PR firm that advises investment managers. Prior to Greenbrook, Mikaela headed communications and sustainability at IK Investment Partners, a leading European private equity firm. She holds a MSc in Business and Economics and a MA in Political Science from Stockholm University. Mikaela is passionate about the performing arts, having worked as a drama teacher in her early twenties.
Ian has been involved with fringe theatre, acting and stage management since 2006, having first trained in acting in adult education. He has participated in the London Drama Festival and performed in a variety of productions, including Romeo & Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and Timon of Athens. In 1994 Ian founded a personal and psychological development non-profit organisation, which was granted charity status in 2005. Ian managed the charity for 22 years, speaking on TV, radio and at conferences, and he remains a trustee. He published his first book in 2012.
Jessie Mangum is a film, TV and immersive producer. Jessie spent five years in-house at prolific Australian film and HETV production company Goalpost Pictures where she worked her way to becoming a hands on producer by undertaking various roles including Producer’s Assistant, 3rd AD, Production Secretary, Production Coordinator, Production Manager, Music Supervisor, Archive Researcher, Script Coordinator and Post-production Supervisor. Recently Jessie has worked on immersive projects including an AR prototype ECHOES OF CRYSTAL PALACE funded by StoryFutures Academy, a virtual reality experience GET PUNKED! for StoryFutures / Visualise / Unboxed2022 Festival where she was selected as one of the StoryTrails Creative Practitioners, and Story Producer for the StoryFutures / BFI / Studio ANRK virtual reality project THERE EXISTS.
